Commerce Track at DrupalCon Denver

Compared to a plain website, everything gets more complicated when you add e-commerce. Ubercart has been the primary e-commerce solution for Drupal, but the Drupal Commerce module family is coming on strong. 

The DrupalCon Denver wanted to emphasize the importance of e-commerce by having a dedicated mini-track on e-commerce topics. The track chairs, Greg Knaddison (greggles) and Michael Meyers (michaelmeyers) brought together five extremely powerful sessions targeting the most timely topics facing the implementation of a Drupal e-commerce site today:

• Ryan Szrama will provide an overview of Drupal Commerce. You don't want to miss one of Ryan's sessions.
• Next up on the complexity level, Allie Micka will provide a building block approach to implementing e-commerce on your Drupal site.
• The next big step for Drupal Commerce is to fill out the inventory of supporting modules. Learn the status of the Drupal Commerce contrib modules.
• Accepting payments online does not come without responsibilities. Learn how to comply with PCI standards.
