The Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) has selected Monarch Digital to redesign and develop its national web site along with 80+ local section sites.
As an integral part of an effort to improve the engagement and image of the club, the new MBCA web site will embody five targeted image attributes:
To date, we have run through several versions of design comps with a steering committee of members and staff from across the US and Canada. We have also implemented many of the base functions of the new site in Drupal. With integrated forums, interest groups, event signups, blogs and columnists, the Mercedes-Benz community can more easily engage, share and grow. I am planning to unveil the site to the MBCA board of directors at their April meeting in St. Louis.
As always, we value our personal relationships with the members and staff of the MBCA and it is those professional relationships that will result in a web site that is the preeminent communication mechanism for Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts, whether they are web site guests, members, dealers or Mercedes-Benz personnel.
As we implement innovative features on the site, I will outline the challenges and solutions as the project progresses.
