Mobile phone version of your site

Although most Monarch websites display correctly on mobile phones and tablets, small phone screens are simply that... small.  Sure, you can zoom in on the page, but your visitors might just skip on to the next site.

Instead, Monarch Digital's site identifies if you are visiting our site on a smartphone and will display a phone-optimized version of our website.  Small screen webpages are designed completely differently than traditional web pages.  There are no sidebars.  Only select content is displayed.  Navigation is especially big to allow for each touch screen manipulation.

Why not develop full blow phone apps for the iPhone and Android?  App development is much more expensive than mobile versions of your website.  Even more importantly, most don't use more than just a few key mobile apps, yet they visit many websites on their phone.  It takes most users quite a while to develop any type of brand loyalty so they will download an app.  

The bottom line is that you should start with a mobile version of your website and graduate to a full blown phone app if it is demanded by your users.
