CyAC

CyAC.jp is the premier tournament gaming site in Japan. The founder, an avid British gamer living in Japan, created his first Drupal site with CyAC. Although he was a talented computer scientist, he was not familiar with all the functionality and capabilities of Drupal modules, so he developed an extensive inventory of custom Drupal modules. Although the site cannot benefit from the maintenance available with contributed Drupal modules, the site is extremely efficient and performs very well under high loads.

As the company grew, the founder needed to attend to running the business and not maintaining or extending the functionality of the website. He selected Monarch Digital for our customer-oriented focus and project management and for some of our developers who also had a passion for gaming. For several months, Monarch has developed and maintained many custom Drupal modules and could efficiently analyze, fix and extend any of the custom code on the site.

Monarch has:

• Upgraded the functionality of the on-site wiki
• Added custom dynamic blocks displaying activity on wiki pages
• Created a "cushion" page that displays a countdown page when a user clicks on an external link
