Tuesday Tours
As one of its many programs, the BETR Project matches companies across Colorado with teachers and parents through its Tuesday Tour program. Monarch developed an online event signup for Tuesday Tours.
Businesses sponsor Tuesday Tours to create awareness of the skills and knowledge required for the future workforce. Randy Dalton, the Director of the program, was forced to manually process many of the registrations and confirmations for both sponsors and registrants across Colorado. In addition, teachers could receive college credit for attending Tuesday Tours creating even additional manual work for the BETR PRoject.
Monarch Digital developed a complete signup system with the BETR Project's existing site. The new system:
- Captures teacher and parent information when they log on to the system.
- Allows teachers and parents to geographically select tours they would like to attend.
- Emails confirmations to teachers and parents when they sign up for a tour online.
- Allows teachers and parents to track and modify their signups.
- Emails attendee lists to Tuesday Tour sponsors 1 week and the day of the tour.
The new system completely lifts the administrative burden from the shoulders of the BETR staff and gives teachers and parents easy access to Tuesday Tours statewide.
